Ok, a little sneak peek at a few more of my
scrappy log cabin blocks as first mentioned on this
blogpost. Am sewing these constantly despite having pledged to finish the other quilts. OOops.
I am planning to try the Quilt-as-you-go method on these using the same block design on front and back. No idea what I'm doing but I'll figure it out somehow.and will keep you posted once I do.

That would be great if you would keep us posted on the quilt-as-you-go. I'm participating in the Mod Bento Box swap and will have lots of blocks arriving sometime in the near future and love the idea of quilting them as I go! That first block is gorgeous, by the way!
ReplyDeletebeautiful blog, so many gorgeous quilts, thanks for the link to the new 'solids' shop, have bookmarked it.
ReplyDeleteHello again *waves* the photo on my blog is from around 18 months ago when i had purple hair, now it is bright red. My natural colour is dark brown so I had to use 2 boxes of bleach before i put the purple on, and then 2 more boxes when I chaged to red, scary business my hair felt like straw, I wouldn't advise it unless you fel brave lol Now I just top up my roots every few weeks, alternating between Live XXL dye and Directions dye.
ReplyDeletehi, yes Emilie is awesome, love the hair, I have 7 of the albums, but you know what Bettie was stunning right to the end. I saw a photo of her at 80 and she was still beautiful.x
ReplyDeleteThese blocks and the little quilt on the previous post look absolutely delightful.
